General information

Ovidus Medical University is a modern university with approximately 1,500 students, half of them are international. The university is relatively newly built and is well equipped with modern technology equipment. The preclinical studies conducted during the first and second year at the university is anatomy, physiology, biophysics and cell biology. There are classes held at the University's hospital in the students' third year. The University has currently about 20,000 students. The faculties are spread across several geographical locations in Constanta.

 

The general perception is that the medical faculty is one of the best in Romania. Both professors and teachers are good. In school, they split the class, into small groups (classes). At each lesson / lab it's maximum ten students per teacher giving effective teaching and good contact with the teacher. The lectures are held for the entire school year.

 

125 students are admitted every year. To be accepted, the first thing is to write an entrance exam. The University accepts applications from April 1st - July 31st. School starts October 1st.

 

University fees *:

Entrance examination: 350 €

Enrolment fee: 150 €

Tuition fee: € 2500 per semester (the first year you have to pay semester 1 & 2 simultaneously)
